It’s great to see independent verification of the power and potential of Canvas technical illustration software, so we were delighted recently to get some great write-ups of our most capable software, Canvas X3.

Launched earlier this year and now gaining excellent traction among customers, Canvas X3 adds to the power of our core platform with the ability to import, manipulate, display and illustrate complex 3D CAD models.

The CAD experts at Graphic Speak wrote:

“Canvas GFX stands out for its contemporary CAD literacy and its inclusion of GIS content creation tools. As design and engineering industries come together, Canvas GFX has technology that’s right in the middle of the scrum.”

This followed on from a review of Canvas X³ on industry-leading news site Engineering.com. Having spent some time getting to know the software, the reviewer wrote:

“We were blown away by the user friendliness of Canvas X3’s ability to focus on 2D views of 3D files.”

They were impressed, too, by the versatility of the software and its broad potential audience.

“There are numerous applications for this program, especially for creating assembly guides and maintenance documents.”

They added:

“It bridges the gap between technical and marketing… Clear diagrams that would appeal to general audiences can be created with ease.”

At Canvas we’re driven to create software that makes our customers’ lives easier in as many ways as possible. So we’re blown away ourselves to get such a positive response from the experts.
