The new brand launch marks the next phase of the Canvas story as an independent organization with fresh investment and new leadership.
The new Canvas logo can be viewed as two- or three-dimensional, reflecting the ability of Canvas software to import and handle both 2D and 3D image files. The hexagon symbolizes both balance and structural stability, and has long been fundamental to mechanical engineering.
Alongside the new corporate identity, all product branding has been aligned around the core Canvas X brand. The Canvas macOS product is therefore rebranded as Canvas X Draw, while the Canvas’ geospatial data visualization product, previously known as Canvas X GIS, has been rebranded as Canvas X Geo.
